About Marc

Marc has performed at numerous prestigious Uk venues including: Wembly Arena, the O2, Ronnie scott’s, The Jazz Cafe, The Glastonbury festival and The Royal Opera House.

Some of his performance credits include: Jess Moskaluke, Mel C, Marti Pellow, The Drifters, The Real, Thing The Foundations, Robin Trower, Guthrie Govan, and The Platters.

As a Jazz and latin player Marc holds the drum chair with Picante (Derek Nash’s) Latin band, The Steve Waterman latin quartet and the percussion chair with Pete Oxley’s “Hejira”, performing the music of Joni Mitchel.

As a side man he has a substantial list of credits including: Liane Carol, Art Themen, John Bunch, Dominic Ashworth, Lily Dior, Paul Booth, Geoff Gascoyne, Quentin Collins, Alan Barns, Robin Jones, Pete Long, Henry Lowther, Karen sharp, Jacqui Hicks and Georgina Jackson to name a few. He has also appeared at: Brecon and Marlborough Jazz festivals, Ronnie Scotts, the Jazz cafe and the 606 club.

In other musical styles Marc has theatre credits that include Blood Brothers, Billy Elliot, Saturday Night Fever, Footloose, Streisand the Story, Million Dollar Quartet, The Sound of Springsteen, The Chicago Blues Brothers and The Carpenters Story.

Marc is a keen educator. He is the percussion tutor at Brentwood School, product and curriculum designer for Rhythm Connections and Co-runs “The Jazz Fix”, also running his own teaching and recording studio.
